EAA AirVenture 2014: July 28 - August 3

Carefully read the NOTAMs for AirVenture (especially those concerning flight in the Fond du Lac Area) which are valid for
these dates prior to arriving.  No information given on this site is intended to supplement and/or replace the NOTAMs.  The
NOTAMs are available by contacting your local FSS or by clicking
here for a downloaded copy.

Hard Surface Parking:
Single, Twin, Turbine, and Jet Aircraft can be parked on the ramp with wheels chocked.  We do not offer tie down on the
ramp during EAA Airventure due to the availability of ramp space.  Singles/Twins are $25.00 for the first day or portion of
the day ($15.00 with a fuel purchase) and $15.00 for each additional day or portion of the day.  Turbine/Jets are $35.00
for the first day or portion of the day ($20.00 with a fuel purchase) and $20.00 for each additional day or portion of the
day.  For reservations to be parked on the hard surface please call (920) 922-6000 or fill out the
online form.

Grass Parking:
Grass parking is located on the west side of the field and EAA volunteers will be on the ground to direct aircraft after
landing.  Parking in the grass is on a first come, first served basis.  No reservations will be taken for grass parking.  All
aircraft parked in the grass will be charged a one time fee of $15.00 (collected at time of parking) and must be tied down
Camping:
Parking for aircraft that will be camping near/under your aircraft is located on the east side of the field north of runway
9/27.  There is a one time fee of $50.00/aircraft to camp.  The fee covers parking and use of the showers.  Showers are
available 24 hours a day during EAA Airventure.

Fueling:
For aircraft parking on the ramp park at the fuel pump (located on the south side of the ramp) and the aircraft will be
repositioned by line service (unless otherwise directed upon arrival).  For aircraft in camping and grass parking fuel can be
ordered by filling out a fuel request tag and hanging it on the aircraft's propeller.  You may obtain a fuel request tag from
the EAA Chapter parking volunteers.  The fuel tag must be
completely filled out before we will fuel the aircraft.  Payment for
fuel can be made in the Skyport office located in the red and brown terminal building between 6:30 AM and 9:00 PM.

Shuttle Service:
Nichols Bus Service offers bus service to and from the Fond du Lac Skyport and the EAA grounds from 7:00 AM until 10:00
PM.  The buses leave Fond du Lac on the hour and return from the EAA grounds on the half hour.  Nichols collects the fee
for the shuttle service which is $12.00 per person one way or $20.00 per person round trip.  Local shuttle service is also
offered to take guests to local restaurants, hotels, and entertainment spots for $4.00 per person one way.

Hotel Reservations:
The Fond du Lac Convention and Visitors Bureau checks regularly for hotel availability during EAA Airventure.  The Fond
du Lac Convention and Visitors Bureau phone number is (920) 923-3010.  Fond du Lac Skyport does not make hotel
reservations during Airventure.  Hotel reservations can be made directly with local hotels and the numbers are listed below.
